Job Description
Role Overview:
Take your career offshore and support a milestone infrastructure project that will make history in the Pacific.
As Civil Foreman, you’ll play a key leadership role on site — overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all civil works are delivered to specification, safely and on schedule. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment and bring the practical know-how to lead a diverse team in a cross-cultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on site.
Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality.
Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards.
Work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Engineer to drive program delivery.
Mentor and develop local team members, building capability and collaboration.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
You’re an experienced Civil Foreman with a strong background in complex infrastructure or Defence-standard projects, ideally with exposure to remote or international construction environments. You’re calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and thrive leading multicultural teams.
You’ll Bring:
10+ years’ experience in civil construction, including supervisory roles.
Proven experience managing subcontractors and site operations.
Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Willingness to work on rotation in Honiara.
