Job Description
Provide senior, hands-on, site-based engineering leadership across complex Defence construction works, delivering compliant, constructible, and right-first-time outcomes across civil, structural, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical scopes. Acts as the senior technical authority on site, integrating engineering, construction, quality, and compliance requirements to support secure, high-reliability project delivery in a USDoD-aligned environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related discipline)
8–12+ years' experience in construction engineering, including senior site‑based roles
Demonstrated experience across multi‑disciplinary construction scopes
Strong background in Defence, government, or high‑compliance environments (desirable)
Proven delivery of complex infrastructure works in live construction environments
High‑level understanding of WHS, quality systems, and compliance frameworks
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or actively progressing (desirable)
Broad multi‑disciplinary construction engineering capability
Strong site leadership with hands‑on delivery focus
High‑trust decision making in complex environments
Risk‑aware, compliance‑driven, and quality‑first mindset
Credible client and stakeholder interface capability
