Job Description

The Site HSE Coordinator/Advisor is responsible for supporting and monitoring the health, safety, and environmental programs at the project site. The Site HSE Coordinator/Advisor provides essential support and coordination of HSE practices, ensuring the safety and health of workers and compliance with environmental regulations. This role involves ensuring compliance with HSE practices, conducting inspections and investigations, and fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, Cert IV in Environmental Management
  • 5+ years in construction HSE management
  • 5 years as a dedicated HSE practitioner
  • Experience in supporting stakeholder groups, and ability to monitor and enforce compliance
  • Innovative Problem solving
  • Developing SWMS and Management Plans/methodologies 
  • maintaining Construction Risk Assessment
  • Attending meetings as required
  • Time management, organisation, ability to prioritise
  • Communication – active listening and verbal and written communication
  • Stakeholder/Subcontractor management
  • Microsoft office – Word, excel and PowerPoint, Outlook, teams, SharePoint
  • Construction white card
  • Senior First Aid
