The Technical Draftsperson (Coordination & Document Control) will support a CC Pines project—delivered through a combination of DfMA/modular and traditionally constructed elements—by producing high-quality structural and technical documentation, coordinating multidisciplinary inputs within BIM, and managing document control processes to ensure accurate, compliant, and fabrication-ready deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural drafting: prepare structural drawings for complex junctions, including interfaces between modular and traditionally constructed components.
- BIM coordination: manage and support updates to BIM models (Revit) to reflect approved shop drawings, and ensure coordination is completed prior to fabrication.
- Integrated drawing sets: produce integrated construction sets, including comprehensive master module drawings that integrate internal services, wall types, and fit-out finishes, and communicate clearly to site teams using both 2D and 3D outputs.
- Document control: maintain registers, manage drawing/document revisions and transmittals, and ensure only current approved documents are issued to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Quality & compliance: perform self-checks and coordination reviews to ensure drawings/models meet project standards, relevant codes, and support QA/ITP processes prior to issue.
