Job Description
CC Pines is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to design, deliver, and enhance electrical systems across complex construction projects in Australia and abroad. This role is central to ensuring all electrical design, installation, and commissioning is efficient, safe, and seamlessly integrated into our builds — supporting our mission to deliver quality, innovation, and operational excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design & Deliver Electrical Systems
Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and schematics for construction projects.
Manage installation and commissioning to meet specifications, standards, and project requirements.
Diagnose issues and provide technical support to minimise downtime and boost system reliability.
Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal electrical and safety regulations.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to determine project needs.
Use CAD and other design tools to prepare detailed electrical plans.
Analyse, review, and approve construction and engineering plans.
Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and electrical performance outcomes.
Stay across emerging technology, standards, and industry advancements.
Collaborate & Influence
Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to align electrical systems with overall project goals.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
Support CC Pines teams through knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and maintaining high-quality delivery.
Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works meet quality and safety expectations.
Drive Safety & Quality
Conduct quality assurance inspections and report on all electrical components and installations.
Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across all work.
Drive sustainable, energy-efficient electrical solutions across our projects.
Champion a safety-first culture through active risk assessment and mitigation.
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration (state-dependent).
Minimum 5 years’ electrical engineering experience, including 3+ years on Australian construction sites.
Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Proven project management capability.
High-level diagnostic, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Valid driver’s licence and ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
